OK, it’s folded around to you and your OTB looking at snowmen.
:8s4::8c4:

You bump it and are smooth called by the BB sitting on walking home to Houston.

The flop comes 8k8.

The Lady checks to you following a pause.

You want to maximize your take but she has been playing tighter than a Olympic pole dancer.

What do you do?

Doesn't matter what you do, all the $$ are going in regardless.

I would bet that board with air, so I would also bet it with quads.

Also wtf is is with "smooth call"?

I bet, just because I also bluff at those kinds of flops (after a flop with a pair and an overcard it is very unlikely that they're strong).

The other option is to slow play thinking that she probably hasn't hit the king, but then you're only playing to let her improve her hand and even if she does improve it's going to be very difficult to get all of her chips in the middle.
If she hasn't hit the king, the only card we can hope for is an ace on the turn/river, anything else has almost zero chance of getting a tight player to put their chips in with. Even if it does hit, it might be too late to get enough chips in the middle having not built the pot on the flop and possibly the turn aswell.

I bet it, and she folds most of the time but I bet it anyway, maybe even show my cards because I'm going to be bluffing in this spot much more often than I'm going to have quads. When she calls/raises, great, I keep betting until the chips are all in the middle or she folds.

You bet for sure. She might be playing tight, but there is no way she's folding top pair top kicker on that flop. You can play it a little weaker on the turn. Hope a king comes and then your set for all her money.

if u've been known to c/bet ur flops 80% of the time then i'd go 4 a stab and c/bet this pot aswell.
If u didnt know they held AK u could b pretty sure she would call ur raise in the BB with most A's or K's. So she might want to float the flop and call or she might check/raise ya to see how strong her pair K's are.
If u did get check/raised then it might b wise jus to call her raise and see if she jams it in on the turn.
