Early in a MTT.. flush draw showing.. you need to pay to beat me..My sort of hand.. you need to pay to win.. and win he did.. so no complaints on my part :) He said he had top pair.. not like coming from the Button would give me top pair with a higher kicker... Why doesn't anybody ever think about position anymore??? But glad I played my way and lost.. asked him if he was willing to play this exact same hand 100 times at $50.00 a hand.. he wouldn't do it.

Sorry now Twizzy but this is donkish play. If I played you 100 times for $50 a hand, youd be broke. The fact is, if he is going to call an-in (well will assume a better player here) then your beat. Whats wrong here with a pot size'd bet to see where you are ?????? All in with top pair, mid kicker is poor. There is an ass loads of hands out there that have you beat.

He made a stupid call, your raise wasnt the worst, but try and get away from that sort of play. your still overbetting.

Even Q4 would have beaten you. If you meant to semi-bluff, an 800 or 900 raise would have done it. Then if someone calls, you'd have a better idea of what you're up against and you'd have chips to continue with.

Betting 1765 into about a $400 pot is alittle overkill. Why risk all your chips with two cards to go with a raise and a caller in front of you. I know that someone with AQ probably would have raised so you know your kicker is the best but you are taking the odds out of the hand by overbetting.

You were begging for a suckout and got it right between the eyes. What if someone limped in with 44 or 88 to see the flop for cheap. You just gave them a nice Xmas present.

If I played you 100 times for $50 a hand, youd be broke. Sure! Lets play that hand 100 times and we'll see who goes broke..84.4% to win with that flop vs his hand...
84.1% at the turn..

50 bucks for you and I'll be nice to round down..16 wins.. Gives you 800 dollars... 50 bucks for me at 84 wins.. Gives me 4200... You sure about who would go broke??

But explanation is forth coming.. wasn't worried about 88's or 44's, reason being 1:8 to hit a set... and 1:16 for a pocket pair?(correct me if I am wrong on that one) If those beat me.. Then nobody to blame but myself..Flush draw at most to worry about..the Nut flush was the most to worry about.

Now previously I wasn't in 17 hands straight.. mostly folded.. no making a move or nothing..

Hand 18...

What if someone has 88's, 22's A,Q or A,K.. A,rag(2 or the 8)..

Bluff at hand 19? Not even remotely possible..and while I was folding, folding and folding. Taking notes on the other players..

Show strength finally on hand 18.Barely playing a single hand..I am not going to start all of a sudden limping in with rags.. I say look I have strength.. and I did with an 84% of winning...

So my notes with my previously play and very obvious style puts me to push onto the underdog to beat me with a 84% to win. Since the hand wins way more then not. I would now change my bet again.. 1st time bet the pot, 2nd time all-in, 3rd time either I check or bet a BB bet. Mix my bets up so you'll never know what I'll have. I will even BB bet the flop, the turn, and the river to show I am scared to bet a strong hand.

Never ever the same style in any game. Like yesterday in that MTT I was in.. not getting any cards what so ever. Watching the board and the players, a little note here and there. A's kept coming for about 6 hands straight on the flop.. Thought about the 30% that an ace comes on the river. Now took a chance on those %'s with a 6,5 suited in the BB. Felt a steal from someone holding ace rag. Went all in and doubled up cause I hit a six.. no aces came and his rag didn't even pair up.

So game after this one.. I limped in no matter what I had for 5 hands straight.. I never play the same complete style twice in a row.

I have that hand again and go all-in with top pair and you hit a set on the flop while I hit a set. Congratulations.. you beat me with the better hand, so you played the hand correctly and I didn't. Yet the %'s are with me, 1:8 that you don't have a set.

The problem is....if you make that sort of bet and get called....ur gonna lose it all 99% of the time. Only a donkey's donkey (let's call it "Son of Donkey" for convenience) makes that call with Q 10. Now your bet was a Donkey bet (Daddy Donkey) and everybody at the table now knows it so you'll get slow played for all of ur chips....guaranteed.

And limping with AJ is not a play i'd recommend, you've let too many players in far too cheaply.Anyone calling with A2/A8 has you strangled and 8/2 in the blinds isn't beyond the realms of possibility. You've also got a small pp possibility or a bigger kicker to think about.
What would you have done to a reraise?

Gotta raise with that AJ, figure out where you are, not let people see cheap flops that could help you but help them more.
