It depends on pre flop play, the board and who you are in a pot with. I would lean towards checking if someone else raised pre flop. If I raised pre flop I would bet even if I missed the flop entirely most of the time. In a limped pot I would lean more towards betting with fewer people in the pot, and checking with more people in the pot. Selectively aggressive play wins.

I don't really understand the question, you say on the flop but then you talk about limping? I'm confused, I suggest you post a hand history from an example.

btw;
Never open-limp.

that would depend on you, the other players, how preflop was played, you could either check or raise it. i probably would half pot it immediately to find out where i was in the hand. is that any help? please post the hand.

When i enter into the hands in EP (early position), I always have my most strong range of starting hands and also pocket paires. To be able to really help with an advice it would be good to post the real hand. But the usual thing to think about is why do we make a bet? What is the reason for making a cbet. I have to have the reason for why to bet or rasie, or check or fold, it is not for a random thing.

Depends on how big your stack is, but I'm not a big fan of limping. Depends on your opponent, and what came out on the turn, but probably some of the time, still raise. A good read on your opponent will go a long way to answering this question.
