Hello, ladies and gents!

I am wondering about several things:

1. Are there are any active HU players (even better - specialists) on CC? If so, where do you play? Maybe we could play / learn together?
2. Are there any HU tournaments for CC members? My friend Figaroo2 mentioned an event in the past - are there any plans for one in the future?
3. How are y'all doing today?

Ian,

I am available any Monday thru Friday after 4:00pm CST & anytime on the weekends. If you want to message me here for a match or just set them up in this thread. I will try to be of some assistance. We can post hands for analysis within the appropriate threads and create ways for others to learn thru this process. Hit me up once you have figured something out and we can get going. I love this idea!

Interesting idea! Im a hu active player, dont always play like my br says me to play, and im not specialist in hu but try to improve my hu skills from game to game. But how can we play against each other, and learn from our game? Will be nice that someone from mod make PS home games for hu games. On CC i play hu tourney only once since im reg here and dont think it will be soon again.

Can't we just sit at a 2 player game and play? Can't be that hard to get going. Give me a few hours to look it over and I will post back here. Reviewing hand histories and how hands are played gives us a look at different opportunities. Once you discuss each action and the thought process. We can get the correct mathematical approach or GTO.

For me I loce to play sit n go and also soin and go. Spin ang go for me its like lesson at the end of a tourney. Because you looking for a big hand everytimes and for me all my chips was gone before hit them so I need to practice more open hand in 2 or 3 player situation. I play sit and go just for the fun. No rebuy no addon its magic. 1 error and you are out. lollll love it. TodAY I'gonna do a CC freeroll challenge at 15 o clock . See you

Hmm... If a tourney was to be organized, it would have OBVIOUSLY to be as a SnG format. However, I was more talking about NLHU cash games. Do you guys play those? I am personally playing HU cash on ACR.

We could make a little tournament ourselves. Would have to coordinate via Skype or some other software. I would suggest scheduling some sweat sessions (one plays in real time, while others watch and give feedback), or analyze hand histories, etc.

I am quite hooked on HU now, as it exposes quite a few of my weaknesses in my game, in general, as well as opens up new aspects of strategy to the game.

Serious question: play money or real money? Just asking since it's for the sake of improvement.

I am strictly using play money for the sake of improvement and teaching/learning.

I saw several players in the tournaments that I participate in cc but they do not know if they are members of the forum since it filters a lot of passwords

Playing with play money gives no incentive for me to try my hardest. That is the truth, and I also do believe that I am speaking for most people here.

I play some heads up on ACR too. Whats your screen name on there? Id be willing to play a pre determined amount of hands on 2 tables at the same time then afterwards we could discuss some of the more interesting hands. What stakes are you playing right now?

We have a HU tourney here every year, good turnout & good fun. It will be widely advertised on the site as it draws near.
Might be best in the long run, for your reputations sake, not to mention actually likin Figaroo, just sayin. :D

I would offer that if you can't try to improve by simply playing hands and then discussing them afterwards while using play money. You aren't wanting to improve to badly. Sounds as if you are only concerned with results. Initially, it seemed as if you wanted to improve your heads up play? Perhaps I misinterpreted your purpose. If so, I apologize. If you just wanted heads up action. Why not ask for that?

Well if so I can't help it everyone has an opinion))

But it didn't make sense, and now your retort makes no sense, when something is totally inaccurate it is wrong, not an opinion.
