started with 25 went to 250 and lost everything in a creepy weed alcohol night after a deception that has nothing to do with poker. ( best advise ever no spin and go =)

started with a hundred and i now with 250.

should i keep playing the same as i did in nl5 for the nl 10?

i am attacking the nl10 so far plus two buy ins

Don't play while inebriated, you won't be at the top of your game, and will make mistakes. Also, do you use any form of BRM? I think $ 250 is a little bit on the light side for 10nl, but if you have a way to deposit more than your BR is technically bigger. It is 25 buy ins, and some people use 20BIs, so it's really up to you, but if you go on a big downswing I would def move to 5nl. 50BIs is more on the safe side, but not a concrete set in stone thing.

Try to stick with one type of game, like play ring games OR SnGs, but not both.

I would play 5nl if I were you and get a decent sample of hands in an see what your win rate is.

Just my 2cents, hope it helps some.

Don't change your game when moving up limits. It's really tempting because every loss feels like you're getting owned by better players but you should fight through the variance for a big sample before adjusting.

Ask yourself what you want from poker? If it's just fun and want to see how far you can climb? Sure why not just be aggressive and see how high :)

thx for your answers .... i learned the game for 2 years without playing watching videos and reading books , following a friend's advise ( big loser) i definitely wanna move the stakes and become a pro.

nothing is a substitute to actually playing so i work my game and learn everyday i take shots at nl 10 ( so far plus four buy ins)

everything works fine and i have enough of nl5 , one hour of play for seven euros is my rate i dont use tracker ( go patrik!)

i am gonna continue shots at nl 10 since in a few buy ins won ill deblock 25 euros bonus and will shoot nl10 seriously with 30 buy ins .

the last nl 10 adventure for me was just set ups after set ups so this time i seem to be on the good side of variance .but i am soooo aware of brm needed

i know 30 buy ins is a bit short but please no more nl5 ( sighs)

i study the tables when im not playing and take notes on players , seems to work so far and makes me in good mood to approach that limit .

i know i have the level to beat this limit just a bit short in buy ins now and no no deposit possible or in one week .

should i take a break from poker for one and deposit fifty in one week ?

dont wanna be stressed out if i lose four buy ins.

thx in advance

Well if you have 30 BIs now, and have the option of depositing in a week, you could technically say your bankroll is what you have now plus what you are available to deposit in the future. I would just play with what you have and don't deposit unless you start running low on funds.

grinding nl10

hello guys ,

i started playing scared money this morning and after a few hours i had my full sense of security.

i finished the first day of grind ( 5 hours) with four buy ins won .

gonna continue grinding for a total of 35 hours this week and jump to nl30 in four weeks ( if thingfs go well of course)

do you think its a good idea to skip the nl20 ?

thx for your answers i appreciate it

:D :p

Two words: BANKROLL MANAGEMENT!!!

Don't play with scared money, don't play with too few buy-ins. You'll bust.
Unless you don't care about the money and can reload at will. In that case: continue.

Yeah some people say if your playing live and want to maybe take the edge off, just have one beer, but I guess it could be different for everyone.
