Basically I've decided to try a new strategy. I think it's pretty bold and I would like some feedback.

1) I plan to play wide OOP, mostly in the blinds.
2) To make up for playing OOP I will be limping a pretty tight range.
3) I will be using a 4 buyin strategy and when I get 5 buyins I will move to the next stake level
4) I'll overlimp big pairs for deception and 3bet o/s double gappers

any input would be appreciated

ps I am really only looking for compliments
any negative input is out of line so just congratulate me

That is, without a doubt, the single greatest strategy I have ever heard of.

Let us know when you start crushing the nosebleeds, it wont be long.

I guess I should have been more clear in my post.
I don't want any negative feedback. Really just tell me how you honestly think I'm a genius and that you will be using this in the future because it's sloop good.

Thanks everyone else for noticing how good this is.

He's not being serious, come on people. He is making fun of some of my posts that he interpreted a certain way.

Which may not be my own meaning of them, but oh well I'm not the most concise person in the world sometimes.

That said, if this was some kind of provocation - flame wars are not my thing, so I'll leave it at that.

Not "targeted" at anyone in specific. Just noticed there have been a lot of threads recently that seem to be advocating some generally bad poker concepts. And when legitimate criticism is brought up the OP gets defensive.

Just wanted to make a post highlighting these for April fools day. Sometimes when people see what they are defending in a different context they can see why what they are advocating may not be such a good idea.

So I guess a little provocation but not look for a "flamewar" since that is rarely beneficial to anyone.

All good, except asking and advocating are two different things, at least to me :)

actually i agree with the min3betting for value part. Overall i think the strategy is pretty solid other than the BRM part, maybe bump it up a little but that's it! GL at the tables!

Just cuz I'm a little worried (I feel like a mom now)...

It may not be clear to everyone that Ubercroz has taken a number of common misconceptions/leaks regarding playing NLHE cash games and put them into an April Fools style post here (and several of the responses are directly in line w the joke). It is not directed at anyone in particular - these are all common misconceptions that the veterans of the cash game strategy forum recognize as being very common topics of discussion/statements made by newer members of the forum.

This is fine, of course - everyone is new to the game at some point in time, and the point of a forum like this Cash Games forum is to provide resources/interaction so people who want to learn more about the game can do so.

Like many others, I enjoyed the joke a lot - but if you misunderstood the joke, please don't implement what he's written in your game...

Sorry if I was causing any trouble there, just trying to have a little fun.

If this looks like the way you play then stop it.
