New local casino any comments as to the rake and cap

There is a new casino opened near me.
I haven't played much live poker and was looking to go and play. However when I went to the website and saw what looks to me to be a very low cap I've had second thoughts. Are there any experienced live players who could comment on whether the rake levels are reasonable and how to play with such a low cap.
A £5 cap on £1-£2 seems ridiculous to me

that 25nl game looks like rake is going to kill you , leaving aside 2BBs of blinds each orbit.

How can you have a cap of 5 for blinds 1/2? it must be an error on their website. That cap is not even a standard opening x3 raise.

I would figure the "cap" is what the rake is capped at meaning they rake max 5 from each pot....so the rake % up to a max of 5....thats how I would read it anyhow which means like keith said the 25nl has a huge rake cap in comparison to the others so id deff go with the 100 or 200nl options they have

The 1/2 game looks like it has an awesome structure, as far as live games go. Allows deep buyins and a yes, that's a very low rake cap.

The .25/.25 game, on the other hand, looks horrible

Cap of £5 at 5% is pretty dam generous. Basically for every £20 in the pot £1 is taken for rake.

In the US, $5 cap at 10% is common at $1-$2

Definetly, with this rake , poker become implayable and you will just loose your money playing there , with 10% rake, it's just ridiculous.

For 50/1 and 1/2 blinds , it's playable but still dangerous, with 5% percentage rake so you have to be carrefull and you have to got an excellent return per 100 Blind

I guess that's not bad according to others. The casinos I play at are 10% capped at $4
