Ok so here is the deal my buddy has just informed me today that he gave his 2 week notice at work, he is burnt out. He went through his finances figured out that he can survive at least 6 months with out a job this includes paying his car payment, apartment, health insurance etc.etc.

Anyway I asked him what he was going to do and he said play cards, hes going to play online, some local games and at casinos. I told him to join this site to maybe help pick up things he may not do but i also told him if he's going to play online he needs to get a HUD. So what i want to know is 2 things are they allowed to be used on Full Tilt and which is the best and what features does the best ones have?

Yes HUDs are allowed at FT

Features wise, PT3 is far superior to HEM.

However, most of PT3's power will never be used by 99.99% of people playing.

HEM is easier to use, more stable and still a very powerfill product.

I have PT3, if I were buying my HUD now, I would probably go for HEM, just because of the stability.

Ever??

Thats odd.

Was it the trial version, occasionally the beta used for the trial version dosnt work with some (sometimes most) systems.

You may have tried it at the wrong time.

This is the stability issue!!!

I dont think this ever happens with HEM

i got HEM e-mailed tilt and it is ok to use as well as its table scanner. but what does PT3 have that HEM doesnt. i feel cheated now. i dont use all the option of HEM now but i still feel i need more.

i would tell your friend to play small stakes on-line and try to use his BR for live play. on-line the skill level is so much better. and of coarse being able to see peoples tells in person is huge. but betting patterns ive learned on-line often show up live and you dont even need a "tell" to know their cards.

PT3 has about a million stats.

If you are feeling technically minded you can create your own stats based on anything, you just need a grasp of SQL.

99% of people never even need a custom stat.. but with PT3 you can.
