I love playing Razz, so I've started playing more HORSE mixed games. Where I really struggle is understanding how to play my 3 card draws on 4th street...if I should even be playing them. If they're also connectors, chances are I will chase, but I'm not even sure what I should be doing with them.

Since most books in the marketplace are to help players improve at Hold 'em, can anyone suggest any good books or websites that will help me improve my Stud play?

THanks!

Generally, if you play a 3 card draw to an open ended straight or flush, you should give it up on fourth street if you don't get help and there's any action. Chasing is death in 7 stud. You also need to play close attention to the others board cards as they relate to your hand. If you have say 6,7,8 and there are 2 9s and 3 5s on the board you should fold, etc.

Supersystem has an excellent section on stud.

supersystem 2 is better for stud, Todd Brunson writes great section on stud 8/or better.

I like the 2+2 Ray Zee book on Stud the best. Very informative and complete for beginner or intermediate player.
