I'm just about done with the first volume of a new poker book I wrote. I'm looking for someone who knows poker who would be willing to edit/read through with any critique's as well in exchange for coaching or products. I've had some people in the past that aren't available, and it's not so easy to find people who can edit that understand poker jargon, so thought I'd give this a try.

Hopefully this is ok mods because I need someone familiar with cash games, and CC is going to be the first place to have this book, which is going to be very expensive also by the way.... or FREE!

Some post black Friday stats so you know I'm not bluffing:

I've coached for over 7 years as well.

I read quite a lot so I'd be happy to give it a look over. I never seem to miss any mistakes when I'm reading and it makes me cringe every time I see one. If you are looking for someone to pick up on spelling/grammatical errors, fact checking and information contrasts then I'll give it a shot.

Hey John,

Editing is a huge part of my real job and I can give it the redline treatment fairly quickly after next week. Just PM me.

Ok, thanks guys. I will hit anyone up who can do any kind of formal editing and/or provide feedback.

Everyone will be able to read it soon, since it will be free, and exclusive to cards chat first. I have 94 pages complete, and finishing the last chapter of the first volume.

She's a mod here who writes and edits.

Thanks guys--I am incredibly swamped right now with several projects but I PMed John with a suggestion.

I thought that was turning into a crack about "Lark Fingers" lol

Too funny and rather ironic, eh?! Fortunately, what I do professionally doesn't involve speed typing in a tiny chat box while my adrenalin is pumping for one reason or another. :D

Lol this is true. My problem is smart phone typing. Awful at it!

But it looks like John is receiving tons of support here. Can't wait to check out your book!

Oh I know all about his site already but the word free used in this thread excites me lol

I meant to say it's free to purchase for $1k if you'd like. Kidding... I've had a lot of this content / ideas sitting around for awhile and finally put thought to paper. Some of the concepts you'll be familiar with, and some you'll never have heard of because they're live and direct from my tiny brain.

It's going to be a two volume work, with a follow-up work book of problems and quizzes. So far this is what we have:

Thanks, I think you're going to like it. Lot of work put into it that's for sure.

I have some topics I want to do for Volume II, but I'm also open to suggestions for topics people would like to have written about.
