Hello
I am new to the site, I want to say thank you to those of you taking time to submit information, it is appreciated and needed, especially to someone like me.

I was hoping some of you might have time to point a cash beginner in the right direction. I am signing up for local cash tournaments near my home and plan to visit a casino in the near future to play in a few games. However, I would like your thoughts on the best place to start playing cash games online. For instance would it be better to start in the sng or the buy in tournaments or should I just start playing at the NL holdem cash tables.

My goal is to try and play three hours per day, what would be the best use of my time and money?
Thank You
Brutenight

Well if you want to learn cash games then you need to consider a variety of factors. You give no indication of you knowledge or experience so we will assume you have very little. You need to read as much as possible and get you knowledge base up. There is a link in my signature that will take you to numerous articles on learning cash games for beginners.

When you feel you're armed with some knowledge then you need to consider where you're going to play. Sign up to a site that at least offers you a significant sign up bonus and preferable some rakeback. This will help build your bankroll. Deposit as much as you can to max out this bonus.

You will then need to calculate what stakes you can play at, if you inexperienced than start low to gain some much needed information about yourself. Practise strong bankroll management or you're dead!

That should be enough for now. But read the article below, then read some more, then read them again, seriously its that important if you actually want to do this seriously and save yourself some money!
