Need Advice, Regular Cash Tables Or Speed? and why more importantly?
as title says need some help with this ive always played regular tables as honestly it feels more like your know real poker lol (transferable skills strategy to live play as honestly one day hope i have a roll big enough to do so) but been thinking about giving speed a try as thought about it a little and wont speed or rush or fast fold poker whatever you want to call it attract more fish as you know fish just want action and a hand to play...? just im not too sure if its better or worse i mean people just fold bare right so hard to pick up betting patterns and tells and also workout if the frequencies are off or not? to me speed somewhat seems like a rake trap as people just more likely to fold alot and wait for nutty hands, but.. yh i dont know preferably someone who plays speed/zoom/snap or fast fold poker if you could message me and let me know roughly what the formats like and how beatable exactly it is id appreciate it.
at the moment i just 4table regular cash tables but fully aware my volume per hours relatively low... so just wondering if id be better off in speed poker for hourly? presuming obviously im even a winning player in that format, sure im actually gonna need to adjust my strat a fair bit in it.

I think I would stick with standard cash tables and avoid speed.
With standard cash tables you have the same opponents in the same positions and you can start to get some reads on how each player at the table is playing. This allows you to adjust your game according to your opponents.
With speed poker you just don't get this opportunity. You will see more hands but you don't have a feel about who is playing what. Is the guy you just 4 bet your KK a super nit with AA or some joker with 10-7 off. It is too difficult to make reads in speed poker and I don't think it is worth loosing that edge.
