pokerstars Zoom No-Limit Hold'em, $0.50 BB (9 handed)

Button ($107.32)
SB ($50.97)
BB ($78.36) - Only 5 hands on him, looks like he dislikes folding. I stacked him with KK vs AK on a KJ4 flop for 35bb (his stack ).
UTG ($72.04)
UTG+1 ($51.34)
MP1 ($50)
MP2 ($44.53)
MP3 ($60.14)
Hero (CO) ($117.23)

Preflop: Hero is CO with A

5 folds, Hero raises to $1.25, 2 folds, BB raises to $4, Hero calls $2.75 (Normally I would 4bet this hand as a bluff but due to stack sizes I decided to call and see what happens.)

Flop: ($8.25) J

(2 players) - BINGO!!! :D (It is better to be lucky than smart.)

BB bets $5.25, Hero raises to $10.50 (Minraise that is meant to look like some kind of flush draw and possibly make him spazz out in case he has an actual hand, this guy doesn't seem like a type to fold any made hand. Also makes it easier to stack off by the river.), BB calls $5.25

Turn: ($29.25) 5

(2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $20.50 (I don't want to see paired board but JJ is like 3 combos so I continue. If he shoves I would have to tank :( but I think any FH just calls here.), BB calls $20.50

River: ($70.25) 6

(2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $82.23 (All-In), BB calls $43.36 (All-In)

Total pot: $156.97 | Rake: $2.50

Quiz time!

BB turns over:
A) JJ - Top set which turned FH
B) 88/55 - Medium/bottom sets which turned FH/quads
C) KsQs - 2nd nut flush
D) AA / KK / QQ - Overpair (with possible FD for KK/QQ)
E) QJs/JTs/98s/87s - Weak one pair bluff catcher.
F) 76s - OESD which rivered a pair

Honestly based on the check call action, he's trying to represent A or B. I'm going to go with JJ because I it sounded like he was reluctant to play the hand until top set was flopped even with the possible flush, if either A or B, then bingo for big blind on the turn to trump the bingo of CO.

I guess those who wanted to take a shot did.

Here is the solution:

BB had 8

9

Haha yeah boy, my thoughts were sets and overpairs bomb this flop so I disregarded them, I thought Jx was more likely than 89s if I'm honest but hey I'll take it ;)

Pretty impressive shot nevertheless. I have to say I had no idea what he has but figured him for D) like MM.

Full houses play turn the same but maybe donk river sometimes, while overpairs kind of follow this line if they don't jam flop.

Unbelievable showdown, strengthens your theory that "he dislikes folding" somewhat :D

Yeah I guess he was convinced I have only an empty flush draw. My sizing was probably good so he only needs to be right 28% of the time on the river.

That being said, I wouldn't have the balls to do this in his place.
