If you play well 300$ is enough Try 6 table and if you run good on this limit up to 8 table

It really up and down at that level for me. I had about that BR and now down half. It will turn and go right back up. I would try it at that level and see how you are going to do. Then after about two week go up one or down one. Oh and by the way, welcome to CC. Don't know how much experience you have, but be careful at 25nl with that BR. GL to you

I would say not a great idea.

How many tables can you currently beat at 10nl?

I think it's fine mate,

Just take a shot and if you drop down to $200 move back to 4NL to rebuild roll.

What was your win rate at 4NL and over how many hands ?

If you don't struggle keeping up with the action... the rumour is the more tables you play and able to manage the lesser the varience.

I think more tables=lower winrate which means greater variance, right? I could be wrong, I have not really experienced playing more then 12 tables myself.

I think the lower winrate really just means that people who can't keep up with the action. You make more mistakes etc. SO it makes sense that way.

But say you stack someone off on one table, hopefully your winning on a couple of other tables.

So split of a second you stack someone off at 5NL ... you might make it back with several hands within seconds at the sametime.

The way I look at it, the whole deal with lowering variance with multitabling is like this:

Say you play one table for a session and the only big hand you play is AA v KK all in preflop for $10. Now whether you win or lose this session is going to be significant variance. 20% of the time you're supposed to lose all your money here, so if you hold, that's variance because you're above or below the play's EV.

Now instead you play a five tabling session and the same thing happens. At each of the five tables, you get AA in v KK, you're more likely to actually lose one and win the other four, or at least something closer to EV of the sum of those five plays than the result of that single hand in the first example.

I doubt you can make it with a 300$ bankroll as 5-8 tables is a bit too much. I would consider 4 tabling for a while if 300 is the max you're working with. GL
