Differences between tournaments and cash games:

Differences between tournaments and cash games:
1. Firstly, in a tournament, after a certain time, the blinds are raised.
2. Secondly, in tournaments, the player who raises has the advantage over the other players who have to make a decision after him. Thus, it exerts more pressure on opponents than on cash tables, where in the case of a losing stack, you can buy more chips.
3. Thirdly, playing for cash tables and tournaments, we pursue completely different goals. In the cash game, our main task is to win as many chips as possible, in the tournament - as long as possible to stay in the game to first get into the prize zone, and after that get to higher cash payments.
4. Fourthly, having registered in the tournament, the player actually binds himself to the playing place before the end of the tournament; The cash game player can allocate for the game at least 5 minutes, after which he will stand up and do other things.
Each type of game has its pros and cons. Choose what is right for you and do not pay attention to other players.

Tournaments requires more preflop readings, cash - postflop. Since I am in the same situation, this is the reason that makes the difference I think.
