MSS is great... and it sucks

First, I think middle stack strategy is a valid strategy. It seems to work well, however it looks to me like more and more people on the site I play on are using it. There are times when I see that 4 or 5 out of 8 or 9 players are buying in for exactly 40 bb and look like they are using it. At what point do you say, "Ok, do I need to change up to combat this strategy or just stay out of the way of the suspected mss players and target the rest of the table?" For the record I am fairly new to using it, but so far it has been quite successful.

Short stack?
Well a lot of ppl are affraid to lose more money in single hand,there are ofc shortstackers which you should avoid +there are regs that want to look like fishes

Magicus: No it is not short stack, per se. It is a mid stack strategy. There are some nuances that separate the two. SSS is really more shove and fold. MSS is more tight play with minimal risk to your bank roll. It allows you to commit when the odds are in your favor.

Sixhurdles: if it is being quite successful why would you want to change? Does other people doing this strategy impact your ability to use this strategy? I guess changing just because other people are doing it is not enough justification if you are winning.

its good way to play with less risk to your bankroll i don't think if others are doing it makes any difference.

you play a tight range of hands and play them fairly aggressively. You buy in for around 40-50bb's and cash out from the table after you have won a few bb's.

Just another PoS strat for PoS short-stackers who can no longer buy-in for 20bb imo. Should be prohibited on all sites that care about the quality of their games imo.
