...wish me luck!

BR hit $300 over the weekend so taking my shot at $10NL...oh and what a welcome I got, very first hand Aces all in preflop for 100BB lost to Q9! Good to see there are still plenty of idiots!

Any hints, tips and advice? is the play that much different from $5NL?

At first I though 10nl was way more aggressive than 5nl, but after a short while I realised it isn't a whole lot different. I found 5nl a bit more passive, but I think I overadjusted to 10n. In retrospect I don't think it is a big difference.

Good luck man. I have played 2 sessions. Won $20 in the first and lost $20 in the second! A shakey start!

10NL is really pretty much exactly the same as 5NL. About the only thing that I have noticed is that some more people open to 2.5-3x instead of 4-5x, but not everyone.

There is alot more 3betting...plenty of guys that just love to 3bet from the blinds regardless of who or where the raise came from.
