I would like to get some opinions on how some of the Cardschaters would play a monster pair UTG in a Freeroll when the blinds are 20/40.

Monster pocket pair will be AA, KK, QQ.

Thanks,

When a freeroll has just started, which would be the case with blinds like you described, if I have a monster pp UTG I will usually make a small raise that is likely to get callers, assuming that there will be another player who will push all-in with garbage that I can smash a majority of the time while picking up some other chips that I might not have gotten had I shoved immediately.

Small raise or call, hoping you'll be able to reraise, you'll have to isolate so you will only have 1 max 2 players seeing the flop with you.

If table are lose I would call, if table is tight I would raise.

Standard raise, shove if reraised, otherwise play aggressively postflop unless the board and action indicates that you shouldn't.

Sounds pretty good to me. Or you can Sklansky, and shove preflop. Freeroll minefields are hard to navigate.

For the most part this is the best answer...every situation will be different, and you should play it towards the current table conditions (tight/aggressive). Don't get married to your hand if you only call pre, and then meet resistance post flop! (my biggest down fall) Good luck.

I tend to raise 3 times bb and hope to get the loose players out of the game. If I do get an all inner I usually take my chances. But if there are more than 1 all inner it could be a lay down. Just my opinion.

Depends on the table. If you are at a tight table, I would raise to try to get some chips into the pot. At a loose table, probably just smooth call, because you will likely get an opportunity to go over the top.

in a freeroll? i go all in with AA. You will almost always get a caller that way.

I would NEVER call w KK or QQ. You can't afford to allow hands like A7 to stay in the pot.

small raise, push if its 2-3 people in pot including yourself. if everybody at the table starts calling lay the hand down, unless you wanna play to get lucky like the rest of them.

I like limping in with aa kk or qq utg. It creates a large pot if someone raises behind you. It also gives you practice in not comitting too many chips on one pair.
