Mirage ( Deceptive, tending to mislead or create a false impression)

I think this happened to me last month . I was playing great the beginning of last month so i decided to move up in limits . Well instead of just sticking to .10-.25 games i was playing 12 tables, 1/2 of them .05-.10 and 1/2 of them .10-.25 . I think it gave me false impressions on the .05-.10 games i was calling way more because the price looked cheap and was losing a ton of money . The price was cheap looking at comparable .10-.25 next to the .05-.10 tables . I think it confused my decision thinking .I made calls i would have never made playing straight .05-.10 games . so i think i will not be mixing tables in the future , sticking to one level and also 9max or 6max only at one time seems far more profitable then mixing them together .

Not a fan of mixing tables or games. Too easy to get confused or, as you said, feeling the bets on the lower limits are cheap.

Too hard to change your mindset jumping between tables quickly.

Somehow I ended up in 4 tourneys at the same time a while ago, NLHE, PLO8, HORSE, and Stud. Drove me nuts. Vowed never to do that again.

Yeah i mixed a few 10's with 25's when i was shot-taking it made me not care about the 10's and get FPS too. If you're shot taking then you dont wanna be playing 12 tables anyways just open like 4max and get some good reads

I am glad to see that this does have an effect on others also, thanks for the responses.

I think it also matters that in one game the SB is not half the BB... that's a small variation that should cause you to slightly tighten your SB play (e.g. complete the SB with fewer hands).
