standard for me to open is at least 4xbb. If there are more than 2 limpers in front of me i'll make it 6-8x bb just to really put the pressure on. Depends on the action too though...

3x is a standard +1 for each limper...

Yeah it depends on the type of table too. If many players are calling min raises frequently and you are UTG with a strong starting hand you should be inclined to make it more like 4 or 5x so you don't get too many callers. On really tight tables, sometimes the min raise is effective and you only get 1 or 2 callers.

Basically raising for value to get money in the pot while you probably have the best hand, also min raising is losing value and has no fold equity at the same time so I never min raise, usually fish min raise alot. 3x standard + 1 Big blind for each limper + another big blind if I am playing OOP. ( I do modify this if the stack-pot ratio is going to make me pot committed though or if I am playing against a massive fish who calls big pre-flop raises.)

I 2.5x the button with my entire range, and from all other positions 3x, as a standard. I would change if other amounts would better suit what I want to achieve given different villains. For example, BvB and if I open the guy will fold mostly and rarely flat no matter what my open raise size is, then minraising here is probs best.

I think there is some merit to min raising, but should be done sparingly. What immediately comes to mind is 2 blind vs blind situations. 1) your opponent is steaming from the previous hand, you've got a premium hand then your min raise may further antagonize/ induce a desired 3 bet from him, or 2) your the BB and will be acting last the rest of the hand and you think he reluctantly completed the small blind because you've got some sort of reliable read or tempo tell on him.

+1
The only time I'm really limping is if several players have limped in front of me and I'm holding a playable hand, that I don't want to fold, but not worth raising with for the amount it would take to get enough of the limpers to fold.
