Hey I would like to hear your opinion on this Hand I played yesterday in 2NL Zoom.(325BB deep)
I'm in the big blind and got dealt 99. Table folds to SB(who is over 500BB) and he raises it up to 6c,
I re raise to 18c thinking he tries to steal here with way to many hands.
Then he decides to 4 bets me to 60c.

I know that people in these limit tend to be a little crazy, so this doesn't mean I'm always up against TT+ (because I'm assuming that people here will do this a lot with some stronger Ax hands, where I'm doing fine against).
So I end up 5bet shoving for the remaining stack.

Is this thinking correct at these limits or Do you think that it doesn't really matter in these spots which stakes this are? Because in 25NL I would have just called or even folded if I had any good reads on this player to use it justifying being that tight.

He had AQs and flopped and Ace if someone is interested

Hi. I guess a couple of questions to clarify what your thought process was when you made the shove:

- Were you hoping to induce a fold when you shoved or were you looking for a call?

- What percentage chance did you think it was that your opponent was just bluffing?

- Was the likely range you were putting your opponent on TT+ and stronger Ax hands? If so, based on your experience with the zoom player pool what part of that range do you think would likely be folded to a shove?

I think I prefer just flat calling preflop with your nines. The 3 bet in the BB is good because this can often be a steal from the SB, but I would prefer to keep the pot small and see a flop in position with my nines. We're way ahead of his range so I would call a few streets and look to show down relatively cheaply. Hard to get a better hand to fold or a worse hand to call when we 3 bet pre-flop I think. I think I'd be more inclined to 3 bet with a lower pocket pair with less showdown value, and hope for a fold or to get paid by a set on the flop. I'd probably have to fold when he 4 bets me though.

Do you really see a lot of people 4 betting with Ax? In any case, I like to avoid big bluffs when people are playing so crazily. I think I would have folded to the 4 bet, as played.

You were really deep to get it all in pre with 99. You were deep enough to just call the 4 bet in position and play post flop poker.

They do play crazy down there in the small limit zoom. 3bet is standard but I am a nit and normally fold to the 4 bet with a hand like 99. Props to you for going with your read takes heart to 5bet shove relatively light deepstacked.

This hand gets my worst hand for the month nomination! And I have played so many super bad hands :D

Usually the discussion around this topic goes like this: Is it ok to get it all in pre 200bb deep with KK? Then some say 150bb is still ok, but 200bb not, some say it's always ok to get it AI with KK and so on.
