Hey guys,

I recently started playing poker again. I deposited 25$ and playing for 4 days about 8 hours each in microstakes .1/.2 and sometimes .2/.5

I have downloaded HM2 trial version and thought if I win at least 130$ to buy software since I can't afford it right now. Anyway I would need some help regarding the graph if you can explain few things..

These are my graphs for past 4 days.

And also how do you play against guys who constantly raise-reraises you.
I had a guy
VPIP 99 (76) EP
PFR 75 (76) 100(pfr+vpip)
Cold Call 26 (23)
mp co btn sb bb are also the same

Constantly raises every hand on .1/.2 up to 0.30 , 0.40c

The weirdest part was that he read every hand perfectly.
For instance
Me : 66 btn , raised him 0.6
he reraises to 18 ; I call
flop : 224
he raises , I reraised him , he calls
turn 4 ..he checks , I raise , he calls
river 7 , I raise 0.6 and he says that I have pair of 6 and folds..

Also there was other hand where I had KA he raises , I reraise , he reraises again and I call. the flop was J 7 3 .. he says on chat missed flop with K A..

And other hand where I had A J , I raise , he reraises , the guy next to me moves all in for 2.5 , I fold and this guy says on chat I have better hand than QQ or KK and calls with 7 2 and wins the hand..

The bottom line is that I would need some tips since I started with 25$ I climbed up to 36 , went back down to 19 and climber back to 30$ again and now I'm at 25.68$ again

micro management

so first of all don't sweat the variance too much. it happens. just keep plugging in the hours. your supposedly magical villain actually was wrong in the 3rd instance (qq/kk is better than AJ, if i understood correctly what you said) and saying you missed the flop after raising and re-raising and then flatting is self evident- happens to loads of micro stakes players. the reasoning being- you would have kept betting if you had aa/kk/qq. anyway the most important bit- him and his kind are really easy to beat but it requires patience- just wait for your premium hands and value bet them. he is bound to give you action. good luck!

dont sweat about it. variance will kick you to the curb. thats why there is bankroll management :)
nobody goes on an infinite heater.
but beware: watch out how you play when you get into a downswing. dont confuse bad play with bad luck. analyse the hands, ask around the forum, do the math.
i see some of my friends extending their downswing unneccesarily because they're justifying their bad playing with bad luck, like: " I called a shove here with JJ against him and he had KK. Even though he was a supernit who only shoves AA,KK AND QQ, it was just bad luck."
