Micros at Bovada...

Recently, I have been grinding $0.02/$0.05 at bovada a little. I was hoping for some tips.

I am a fairly tight player. If I enter the pot, I raise. I RARELY limp. It seems some of these people on the tables regard a raise as a "challenge". I almost always have position, with good cards. I will sometimes fold 3 orbits or more.

It seems after a while, the whole table does not believe me anymore, and my 4x-5x raises get 4+ callers. People will then call with all sorts of garbage hands that do not play well OOP. They will try to trap me.

Should I just leave the table after a while, to start a new table image? It seems the more pots I win the less they believe me. Then, many people act like they are gunning for me because I am so aggressive in position.

It can get costly when people start getting fed up with my aggression. Does anyone have any tips that could help? Should i show winning hands when people fold? I never show.

Quite honestly, I take alot of pots using well-timed aggression with nothing. But after a while, people don't believe me anymore. I don't want to hit and run, but I feel sometimes it is necessary to reset my table image.

Am I playing right for micros? This is how I play live.

You say that like it's a bad thing. If your opponents respond to your tightish play by loosening up like that, then really nit it up. If they're calling your raises OOP with garbage, then just keep showing 'em hands like (A, A) (K, K) (Q, Q) (A, K) -- the premium stuff. Don't even think about changing tables. Let them donk off their stacks to you.

The adjustment here ought to be obvious: once they stop believing you, stop with the theft. Show 'em real hands, and let them call off with second best hands that they think are good because they've convinced themselves that you're stealing once again. You can punish the floaters by c/c-ing more flops and barrelling turns and rivers.

You definitely don't want to slow 'em down. Once again, stay aggressive, let them get "fed up", and tighten up. Less bluffing and semi-bluffing; more value betting -- that's the adjustment you're looking for here. If you don't have to show, then don't. Keep 'em guessing for as long as you can by not giving away any more information than you have to. This looks like an ideal situation here.

This is pretty much the norm at any micro table I sit at on bovada. It just seems like I have a target on my forehead after a while. People really get steamed.
