Hey guys I was wondering if anyone knows a way to find local micro stakes live poker games? maybe like .05/.10, .25/.50 games? My local casinos only offer $1/$2 cash games, and im still a newb at poker I cant really afford to learn skills at the 1/2 tables.

Also playing online is not an option for me so, does anyone know some kind of website that will put me in contact with like other micro stakes players?

Yes it is preferable to work out good to play online and then proceed to the live poker.

In my experience the best thing to do is ask around in your local circles. At work, local bar, friends. I have a group of friends that started out a few years ago playing .05/10 and has moved up over time to .50/1.00.

you should try to find a casino which offers electronic poker tables, that's the only way, but the min limit will be NL50

For real. You obviously have a computer and an internet connection... Got get a rakeback deal and make a 25 dollar deposit somewhere. You'll play for eons. Better yet, you can bankroll yourself by way of freerolls if you get into the right site. I obviously still don't understand why you can't play online, but if in fact you can't, you may want to look for poker rooms like "Poker Play" (a room here). I don't know where you are, but when I Bing'd "poker room, phoenix az" the first result was a complete list of all poker rooms in the city and surrounding areas, including ones that had been closed. Shouldn't be too tough.
