Ok, So I'm a 10nl reg and it kills me. I want to move-up.

Im looking for some other people who play 5nl(reg) - 50nl(reg) to start a regular study group.
strat sessions.
sweat sessions.
some videos, books, etc.

If you have some ideas on how to run it smoothly. Step up.

Im thinking like 7-10 people.

Disclaimer: I take poker serious. Im actively trying to improve. If your not serious, please dont waste my time.

I might be down depending on time schedules for everyone. I have a full time job to work around, but I have still gotten in 25k hands this month at 5NL. I'm on the brink of moving up to 10NL(just looking for a tad more padding). I could set up a Google Wave group for a couple guys to do this so even if someone can't make it to a study, they can go back through and see what they missed. Let me know.

I have a full time job too. So we'll figure something out. Evenings, weekends etc.

Not sure what a "google wave" is but it sounds beneficial. All tools available.

I'm really interested in doing something like this, but as serious as I am about learning, I think I might be a bit too micro (I'm really just starting out and am playing lowest possible games at AP (that's 2NL, right?). I'm also skirting around a full-time job and 3 kids. So I don't know if I'd be able to put in the time that you would want to see.

With all that said, I'd love to be in a poker study group and promise I'd take it very, very seriously.

It is a collaboration tool meant to be kind of like a chat room, but it is all saved and you can even incorporate a whiteboard and pictures and such. I've used it with poker groups before and it has worked out well. If the time comes, then we can go through a walkthrough, but it's nice to work with.

Count me in. I use Windows Live Messenger aka MSN for multi-way chats (sometimes AIM). Skype also works well for 1-on-1 study or sweat sessions.

Would love to be a part of this but not so sure about the sweat sessions etc as I am in Australia. That google wave sounds ok though and I would really like people to go through my HEM stats because I do know I have some major leaks, I think I just need them pointing out to me.

I have been playing micros since the end of last year, had a couple months off but have played about 80k hands. Currently playing 10NL.

I'd be intersted too, but I'm only available from around 10pm ET until about 1:00 AM. I was having such a bad run at cash games that I switched to mostly SNG's, but I'd like to get back to them if I can figure out what was going wrong.

I'm in the 2-5NL range.
I could commit about 6 hours a week specifically to this study group.
I'm an East Coast US dweller.

Really need to make sure people want to do this and not just sign up then forget about it.

Is this going to be full ring or 6max? It looks like most of the interested people play full ring.

I play 10NL at least an hour a day, sometimes up to four hours, review and read for at least another half hour to an hour. I am in eastern Australlia so I am generally available between 1am and 7amEST during the week and almost any times during my weekends (which are Friday night - Sunday morning EST)

I'm absolutely very interested in this and can be quite active. Play at least 4 hours a day during the week (sometimes more if I get off work early). Play a lot more on weekends.

I'm on the East Coast so during the week my peak playing hours are 4-10pm or so and weekends are pretty much anytime.

I've been playing mostly .02/.05 FR and 6-max.

I'm quite serious about improving my game.

I shouldve told everyone to post that info too.

I play 6-max.

Ive already sent some PM's but if you didnt get one and you didnt post what you play (and you play 6-max) PM me.

Someone should take the lead getting one going for FR players.
