I have 44 dollars in my bankroll and im trying to follow the rule of playing within your roll. Even though its tough and im tempted to play beyond my limits so heres the thing with my current roll im properly rolled for only $0.01/0.02 NL hold em. but when i play it i will play for sometimes an hour or 2 and not really make a profit most of the time the money i sit down with in a cash game will stay the same and im trying my best to play good poker keeping tight playing solid hands yet it still keeps mr at the same i dont get much profit from it. So i figure why bother playing those games id rather jsut play a bunch of 1 dollar sit n gos. i think the 1/2 cent games just get me mad ill be in there forever but it starts to suck because you dont make any money really

I hear you.....Kind of limited to what you can play, however, stick to the freerolls and you can try the 1.20 SNG or up to the .02-.04 ring games. I know Carbon and Walker poker rooms have them as I play in that range all the time. If you have not already done so, would invite you to read the Chris Ferguson's article on FTP with regards to Bank Roll manangment. If you have, maybe re-visit it. I was there where you are in this kind of BRM, I am sure alot of have been. It takes time-disclipline-and a heavy dose of common scense, but your bankroll will grow with proper disclipline. Good luck in your poker endevors.

why not take a stab at a $1 or $2 sng with that roll too. If your willing to sit and possibly lose $2 at a NL ring game, you could double that amount playing 1 sng in 30 to 40 mins.

It depends on how many tables you are playing as well. You can expect such a slow build up if you're only playing one or two tables. You could make a fair bit if you played a massive amount of volume and tables.

I understand the bordem that comes into play when playing the 2nl limits, I much prefer playing 5nl.

Personally though here is what I'd do with your roll - I'd go for SnG's and build your roll that way..

Start with the 50cent 45/90 man turbo's and grind lots of them. Once your bankroll has doubled, you can then either keep to SnG's if you prefer them or are crushing then and move up. Or like I say, just double your roll and just then play 5nl cash games.

I tend to me more loose and aggressive at 2nl which is why I'm losing most at 2nl, yet winning at 5nl and 10nl ! Weird.

fwiw, never ever play a $1.20 sng, paying 20% rake is just ridiculous
