First off if you're starting with a micro bankroll make sure you're sitting at a capped 6 max.
Unless you're playing strict fundamentals and get a great run of cards $2.50 isn't going to support a full ring ( 9 max ) no limit.
Also opening 3x with a marginal hand in position is great, as well as with a premium hand, but it won't get you anywhere if you're relying on your cards to win you money.
These micro stakes are so full of fish waiting to give you money.
Watch for super tight, and passive players. Sit in position to consistently take their blinds. Fold marginal hands to their big reraises. If you have a decent hand and they bet weak or pause a lot on the flop try and push them off of it.
Also don't forget to exploit the over aggressive players that are putting money in the pot too much. If you see a player in the pot every hand or every other hand they're obviously playing any two cards.
Remember players at this lever WAY OVER VALUE top pair, two pair, trips, low straights, etc.
They also under value second pair, pot odds
, the knowledge of outs, and odds in general, etc...
Anyway good luck man.
