Building a bankroll through cash games can be risky, though profitable when done with guidelines(and a bit of luck, lol). Playing on ACR, I'm currently playing in the micro $.01-$.02(short) cash games. Here are some of my techniques for building and keeping your bankroll while playing these, and if you have some for me, please share. The entry for the above mentioned games is $.40-$1.00. I was once given advice about cash games and the #1 rule is never go in short, always enter with the maximum allowed, the reasoning behind this is to give you more time to last the blinds, and to give you maximum winnings if you win a quality hand. I have found this to be good advice. My next suggestion is to leave the game when you get ahead, in this way you protect your winnings and your bankroll. Next, if you have the time and patience get on a waiting list instead of jumping in a game that needs a player, this is the best way to get a "handle" on poor players. Take notes, you will often find you see the same players on the tables and knowing how they play can be very helpful. Lastly, always play your game, don't let the bad beats get you down, it happens, keep on grinding.---Poker, the game we love to hate---
