Hello

Wondering if anyone else is having trouble with this leak. Basically in pots 10-70bb (where I VPIP), I'm losing a lot (70bb/100). This is over a sample of 45K. BlackRain says not to focus on red line too much so I filtered for WTSD. Still losing, not quite as much. I'm losing more when I RFI than when I take other lines. I feel like this leak is effectively strangling my WR.

Anyone have any gems of advice?

Thanks

Just an assumption.

You might be double barreling & folding on turn.
Or else taking the passive line of check calling air & check folding.
Try to understand equity & hand strength & go for a better play

You didnt really provide enough of your stats to give you a definitive answer, but based on what youve said you are probably playing too loose preflop, and then calling down in marginal spots. That is typically hands like A-10o, and then calling to river when an A hits. Or RFI with a hand like KQo, and then committing too hard when you hit. This could explain your leak because with hands like that, you will typically lose big or win small, and it is typically the type of hands that could conceivably build pots over 15BB HU. Either that or you could be chasing drawing hands too aggressively, but the marginal hand theory still holds for that. I suggest breaking the analysis further into the types of hands you are losing with in pots that size

Ok your problem is starting to show i think. Your preflop range is solid but very predictable. So given the fact you are Cbetting 65/100 of your hands, you will be exploited extremely easily. This is also reflected by your aggression factor. Do you play 6max or FR?

Your preflop range is solid but very predictable.

I'm very much confused why you think this? Does not sound reasonable analysis.

Just a typo. I mean to say your preflop range is solid but youre very predictable.

Braveslice,
I am also confused. All stats seem within normal ranges for winning players. I'm not sure why we would look at those stats and say that HiSociety is too predictable.

HiSociety,

What stakes do you play? 6-max or full ring?

It sounds to me like given your normal AF and fold to flop c-bet, you may be a bit of a calling station on the turn and river.

Relevant stats would be Fold T bet, Fold R bet from PT4, I am sure other HUDs have something similar.
PT4's LeakTracker has 44% - 67% as normal for fold turn, and 43% - 66% for fold river, for low stakes 6-max.

Since your VPIP is in the middle of the normal range for winning players, I would imagine that you would ideally be near the middle of those ranges. The looser you are preflop, the more you should be folding on the turn and river.
