Does anybody else seem to notice a lot of players that mash pot bet when they have a strong hand and min bet when they are drawing?

Is it just where I play, but people really lack creativity about bet sizing.

Ummm, so they bet pot when they have a hand and bet only 1 BB when drawing? I've seen many micro stakes players bet larger when they have a hand and smaller when they don't but never a min bet. Microstake players can get away without changing bet sizes because majority of micro players won't notice and/or exploit it.

Yeah pretty much, the min bet seems to be universal language for "im on a draw so please dont raise" They even do it when they are last to act after it has been checked to them lol.

Im not complaining obv, just wondering if other people experience this.

now started to play poker stars NL5 zoom, I do not have much volume of hands, but if it happened to me that you mention against certain villains.
Generally bet on over river are worth, yesterday I shot two couples against unknown villain who plays an over bet giant river.
Yesterday two hands to two different di call played over regular bet on the river, coincidentally both had no position and flush draw on the river failed when the project had bet all in. Generally a large river bet is with nuts or a total bluff

Yeah, I have seen the betting the OP noticed at micros. I have also noticed people going all in preflop with 28 os, and limping and checking to the river with aces.

This is a great spot to go for the bluff in the microstakes. Even in a multiway pot, you can isolate postflop with a raise with air, they call, they donk out again, you reraise them big on the turn, they fold.

You do have to watch out that they're not minbetting with a TPTK hand to induce a play. Like on a low flop, they'll often do this with a weak overpair, like 88s, which they're willing to let go if they encounter heavy action. If you see this player bet bigger with strong hands and minbet with his draws or weak pair-type hands, then you can go for it.

I've seen where people min bet on a paired board (ex 889 and they have an 8 in their hand) all the way to the river and people shove on the flop with a flush draw
