K I put these together because my plans are:

1) Do a lot of PLO 10-25 FR and make a chart that moves upstairs at 45 degrees, not aiming at any number of hands but 2 tables max... want to carefully walk through the hands.
2) Grind stud at 1/2 and 2/4 to make back all I lost at 3/6 and 5/10 (halfway back in last 2 weeks) and maintain silver at stars. Mainly one ring hit and run strategy, tried and true...
3) More work coming in and so get a lot done this month.
4) Start plants for garden and clean house.
5) Continue to sleep through CC HE tourneys...

Doing the Hwang now more than the Sammy, so welcome any PLO talk here.

BTW Apologies to Debi for not doing all those SNGs last month, as promised in her thread. Moshman text just arrived so give me a minute...

In.

Just started playing 10plo rush on FT (super soft fwiw - sounds like marginal's having great success at 50plo rush).

No goals for now (focusing atm on the other game I'm not supposed to talk about in this thread :D ).

worth a look txs... for now am focusing on carefully watching my tables so stars is OK; also dont like the rake at tilt.

May c u there sometime just for fun tho...

Yes take comments about that other game to the ten thousand threads here already devoted to it txs...

r u buying in short at the rush tables and pushing margins doing hit and run? Is there another strategy?

I can guess there are lots of uberdonks at those tables, calling with undersets or str8s and no redraws etc....

I have no idea what sly's doing, but since PLO is pretty much a postflop game, I'd think that buying in short would be damn near retarded.

Agree - buying in full - the play is really really bad, people play idiotic draws postflop (7hi fd's on paired boards etc.), you want to get deepstacked as quickly as possible imo.

I'm assuming that with Rush all HUDs are worthless there.

Not true! HEM's HUD is working well for me - I'm playing 2 tables of PLO rush. Since the player pool isn't as big as the player pool for NLHE rush you start recognizing players (I have no clue who's on the NLHE rush tables, I don't look at the player names, just the HUD stats and stack size). The HUD stats do come in handy for opening ranges by position and 3betting patterns.

That said, the vast majority of players at 10plo rush I've played with so far (2500 hands) are really fishy, so there isn't a need to really drill down into the stats imo... Maybe different at 25 or 50.

OK, as you like it, is true is a deep stack and postflop game, but SS can still work to force out marginal DS drawers and induce big stacks to call... never mind....

Ha ha tried a bit of that rush thing and lost a bit fast; in a deep stack game or any I like to be able to read a bit. Rush is not the addiction I am trying to master.

I congratulate anyone with the concentration to beat PLO or XX Rush regularly via ABC and crunch those numbers. Agree sly the field PLO is way small and so way readable, but so r u?

Anyway Rush is too fast for me this month just wanna plod along... :ridinghor

If I thought the field was good enough to do anything w being able to read me, I'd be worried, but... ;)

I wouldn't recommend rush unless you're interested in grinding - I think your plan to work on your hands carefully is the right one!
