Ok.. so i've been playing micro for quite awhile, been double-tabling @ NL10. And i found ALOT of leaks that i hope someone could enlighten on how to plug em.

1. Failing to spot hidden sets
2. Failing to put down TPTK, or even TPLK
3. Failing to put opponents on a hand
4. Failing to fully assess flop texture before b/f
5. Playing AK VERY BADLY
6. Failing to lay down marginal hands against LOOSE PLAYERS

The last point, idk, it's like when loose players pfr and c-bet, when i have mid-pair or overcards i'll call, and by showdown, poof, TP for them.

A hand for example of failing to spot sets.

Villian is 36/12/2

UTG ($6.21)
MP ($9.92)
Hero (Button) ($4.83)
SB ($1.90)
BB ($5.77)

Preflop: Hero is Button with 10:spade:, 10:diamond:
1 fold, MP bets $0.30, Hero raises to $0.90, 2 folds, MP calls $0.60

Flop: ($1.95) 6:heart:, 4:spade:, 9:club: (2 players)
MP bets $1, Hero raises to $2.60, MP raises to $4.20, Hero calls $1.33 (All-In)

Turn: ($9.81) J:spade: (2 players, 1 all-in)

River: ($9.81) J:diamond: (2 players, 1 all-in)

Total pot: $9.81 | Rake: $0.48

his 3bet looked like a donk bet.
i know if i wasnt shortstacked i shld haf folded when he 4b on the flop, but i was pot committed. the qn is did i make the right play 3b on flop??

Just to get technical, he 3 bet on the flop, you just raised his bet.

You 3 bet him pre flop because the blinds are counted as a bet. So the initial raiser pre flop raises, then you 3 bet. After the flop he bets, you raise and he 3 bets.

Is this hand 5NL or 10Nl? Either way I would just shove over his bet on this flop as you are always pot committed when you raise him anyway, you may aswell give yourself the max fold equity. This is a very dry board we could definitely have someone over valuing their K9, A9 or draw here.

If this is 10Nl is there any reason for playing with such a small stack?

To clarify terminology for you:

Preflop: Hero is Button with 10, 10
1 fold, MP RAISES, Hero 3BETS (RERAISES), 2 folds, MP calls $0.60

Flop: ($1.95) 6, 4, 9 (2 players)
MP BETS (DONK BETS/LEADS OUT), Hero RAISES, MP 3BETS, Hero calls $1.33 (All-In)

Turn: ($9.81) J (2 players, 1 all-in)

River: ($9.81) J (2 players, 1 all-in)

Total pot: $9.81 | Rake: $0.48

You can't think about folding your hand in that kind of flop...you're way ahead of his range, on that limit people will 3bet almost with any AX KX QX type of hand.
