Let's say you were going to go play in a poker game with a rather different goal than usual. You don't care how much money you win or make. There's just this one guy that you'd like to see lose.

Where would you sit (relative to him) and how would you alter your play. Assume he doesn't know that this is your goal.

For example, when you see that he's drawing and someone else has a made hand, you could help the made hand re-raise him to charge him more than it's worth to draw.

Any other ideas? I'm not looking for any methods of collusion or cheating, but any other interesting ideas.

I do something similar when I sit at cash games, except I am still trying to make a profit. I choose the weakest player at the table and just piss him off by messing with him all night. If I have the guy saved in my player search bar and I know who he is, I try to sit to the immediate left of the guy.
If you want to target a single player, call most of his pre-flop raises except when you have crap cards or if it gets too expensive. Raise almost all continuation bets and just do anything to piss him off. Call him down with A high to show him that you aren't going to fold very often, and then use that against him when you have the nuts.
Little things like that...

Sit on his left if he's a donk. This will save you some duckets. On his right if not.

I won a tourney a cuppla days ago because I showed a big bluff.

Guy on my right was hitting every hand hard and successfully pushing off a lot of folks. I finally got fed up with him and pushed on the button with nothing after another one of his big bets. He folded, I showed the bluff.

Later, at the final table, it ended up him and me at the showdown. He commented that he doesn't know how to play me because of that bluff, This gave me the time to catch cards and I beat him.

just play as aggressivley as possible and make sure not to pay him off for any big hands he might hold. but if you min raise every pot then you will tilt the tabel and make sure that it is expensive for everyone to see a flop. which will in turn increase the pot sizes and make it more expensive to play after the flop as well. and you know that your raising with junk so the only one you want to play back at after the flop is him but you wont even do that if you think he is made. otherwise you are mucking and getting away relatively cheap. do this and you will throw off the entire table for sure. if you happen to chip up though make sure you change gears once you get big stacked cause now if you go ahead and play solid you will enstill even a greater possibility that he wont win since you probably will.
