Ok so the Microcrushers thread is one of the most popular threads on CC, and it has come to my attention that there is nothing really above that

So the Midstakes (low stakes really 50nl +) thread is being created for a lot of similar reasons to the Micro one,
-hands
-Concepts
-Help with PT/HEM etc etc

This thread should allow some higher level discussions and also give the people in the microstakes thread who are moving to 25 and looking to progress a good idea of what the higher limits are like and some of the thought processes that need to be applied

So ye get in and get discussing :)

BB's Total AF=1.4 and I have never seen him c/r before

we need 29% to call turn and have 22% vs a range of all straights (QJ,J7,76) so just call turn/river?

I just struggled to find any value hands besides 44 and sometimes quad 5's. Maybe some overpairs? Idk, it felt like a very aggro played 67, weak J or even 23

Infact didnt see ESS's so we can call turn but i struggle to fold vs this lemon pie OTR after investing so much when we still have top set vs a fish, he could have 2ps and worse sets aswell as straights imo

Giving same thoughts I did previously on skype

I think he has more 89, 108, 109 combos + obv 88,99,1010 then he does straight. I kind of like shipping it in bc I don't think he's ever folding 2p or sets...but if he's that passive, I like the call turn/evaluate on river line better

9x, 8x, 1010, even some 2p's like 56 might find a call if it's small enough

I thought about that. To me, his line just didn't make sense. Like what is he repping, purely 44 right? I mean were blocking JJ + 55 is unlikely as well

Thought the thread title was dubious until the Ducky correction. In. Currently at 25nl treading water though it's debatable I'm good enough to stay there right now.

I'm almost definitely calling after his flop check, you're right that he bets most things on the turn, the paired board making it less likely you have a hand. If I was villain with air I'd be betting river and expecting you to fold that hand, he played it pretty much as I would. You've both played it like you don't have much or he has a T and you're not much is likely better.

I would have bet flop if I was you as well as a T turn.

Ye i would bet flop

Tough river spot, coz this hits your calling range so i feel like he didnt want to get raised and planned to x/c then OTT felt he could get 2 comfy streets
