Is the play at low stakes casino cash games like 1-2NL similar to the micro stakes online? I have. Plaeyed a few times but not enough to get a realistic feel. I have seem some bad play like one kind called my push on flopp with kj on a K84 flop. But I haven't played enough of it to definitely say what the play is like.

In my experiences, the low stakes games are pretty fishy. I see people playing hands like 95 just because they are suited. Often times in my 1-1-2 games I play we get 5-7 players limping to see a flop. If someone raises you might get 4-5 callers.

I love the games because they are so loose but it gets frustrating when you hit a set and someone with suited rags hits a flush on you. You have to go with your reads on players. Some players know what they are doing, others are just playing because its fun and the thrill of going 'all-in' makes it worth the losses they get.

Depends

All depends what City you are playing the live game, I have had quite different experiences depending where I played.

In general, NL5 seem comparable to 1/2 live but with live you get a more mixed bag of experience. You get your terrible players and quite experienced players. The stereotype of opponents can't be really applied, you have to deal with them on an individual basis...LizaBuv
