bankroll management would help. What stakes are you planning to play with that $50?

Also, keep in mind that $90 in two days is really a small loss. I've lost over $1000 in a day before. But my bankroll was over 10K at the time, so I could handle it.

play 2nl that's all your rolled for. also go to the golden archive and do some reading. if you were playing 2nl and lost 90 dollars in two days there's a serious problem.

$90 is dinner for two at a decent restaurant. If this compels you to seek advice via the internet, then stop playing poker.

I'd say that a $90 dinner for two would be dinner at a v.good restaurant, dinner for two at a decent-good restaurant where i live is like £40!! You must have high standards lol

It depends on what exactly you are playing. If you are losing $90.00 with correct BR management in place then I guess you have a lot of leaks that need addressing before depositing more money. Try use the $50.00 for some books. However I believe you may well be playing outside of your roll.

Americans seem to get more for their money in terms of food and quality. A crappy restaurant you can expect to pay like you say £40.00 which is like not far of $90.00! I think for a decent restaurant you're looking at £100-£140 for a 3 course meal alone!

There is also no quick fix unless you are one of the very very few who have a nature instant talent to poker. It's a long grind but if you lost nearly 90 buy-ins then your game really needs addressing first before I'd deposit again because losing that many buy-ins and that much of a roll in 2 days is quite bad, no offence. Like I say, I'd invest some time into forums/videos and maybe buy a book or two but don't expect profitable results for a long while.

I'd stay away from Rush - It's not a good place to learn how to play.

Did you win any of those SNG's? Obviously not enough. You're probably playing way too loose. Try play money SNG's if you want to learn something without losing your real money. If you can't beat the worst players (play money), how can you expect to beat the players who are slightly better than the worst. (micro's)

As always, read books, read the forums, watch training videos, examine past hands to see where you went wrong, etc.

Food quality, yes. Quality of service/dining experience, no.

America is evolving towards getting steak and lobster from a vending machine.

As someone who's eaten at Michelin rated places here in the US, and at a bunch of good places in the UK, switzerland, and Italy, I gotta say I disagree with you in a big way. America is the land of fatties, and we do eating out WAY better than across the pond.

SLOW DOWN !

The first thing I thought was that you are in a hurry. Deadly attitude IMHO.

Play play money rather than continue to dump cash into shark teeth.

Slow down. You can not be an overnight sensation in this game. Unless you are a gazillionaire, read between the lines, read our Golden Archives.

You say you are all over the place. Pick a game variety and stay with it. The quick fold RUSH games are probably only good for picking your pockets. Stay away from them for a while. I know they are exciting, but you want to eliminate the exciting part of poker. It is a grind, even when it is exciting, it is a grind.

Old saying is that poker is a boring game punctuated by brief periods of terror.

Slow down and study.

Play 2NL instead or $1 SNG's. Play money is a waste of your life

YES. Also eventually Christmas will be celebrated by meeting and exchanging gift cards in the parking lot of Wal-Mart.

False it doesn't have to evolve thats pretty much how 60% of people to it now.It all started when they took the Christ out of Christmas an replaced it with a X.Then the brain washing commercials after Halloween if you love her buy her a diamond etc.
Sorry for the derail.

My comment wasn't really aimed at the industry and it certainly wasn't aimed at "the best restaurants in America". I was aiming at the consumer.

If you're a losing player, then I suppose any poker is kind of a waste of your life. At least play money is not a waste of your money as well.
