Hi, I'm looking for a good and user-friendly LIVE pot odds calculator. I tried Poker Office but I was very disappointed because it's really not live hand tracking; it's usually delayed by 2/3 hands.

I also checked out Marty Smith's Holdem Indicator but wasn't too happy with that either.

Does anybody know of a good pot odds calculator that's compatible with pokerstars for not too expensive (obv free would be ideal). Thanks! and gl all.

The only ones that I have ever really tried were:

Poker Indicator

Hold'em Indicator(not sure if it is the same one you are talking about)

and Tournament Indicator

I realize they are all pretty much the same program, but they serve the purpose for odds or hitting your hand and pot odds. Not sure if they have done anything new with them since I haven't used any of them in a year or two, but worth the try.

ive heard of these types of programs are they really worth it ? can you really make money using them ? or do you still have to be a very good player and just use it as a tool ?
thanks

An odds calculator is primarily a training aid for beginners (and may be of some help to more advanced players when multi-tabling). It`s not suddenly going to make you a star.

Experienced players can calculate the odds in a heartbeat without any aids.

Poker Indicator didn't impress me. Kind of distracting.

I have tried several poker trackers and stat indicaters and stuff like that,I have found that simple division skills work the best to just figure out your pot odds in your head.
It will help you in the long run just doing the math yourself, and pot odds are quite an easy thinto establish without any program.
Now odds calculating can be a bit more complex but still better imo to just learn the 13 suits 52 cards 4 different suits deck and learn how to figure out the math in your head or even begin with a calculater if it is to complex.
either way your better doing it without a odds tool.

The rule of 2 is good enough isn't it? (postflop of course)

Make an intelligent guess what he has, count the number of cards you need to hit to beat him/outs and multiply by 2. If you're at the flop.. multiply it by another 2.

I'm a little rusty here but did I get that right?

I've seen people use these types of products from time to time, usually for a little while then quit. I don't think I know any long term winning live players that use them. There are a couple of people that log hands for later review I guess.

I'd be interested to hear from anyone who does use them regularly and benefits from it. What spots they find it helpful in, etc..
