Hi, so I decided to take a stab at live cash games. I hadn't before as it was quite a lot of money to me to lose. I'd only played live cash once before with no success.
Anyway my first session went very well playing on a £1/£1 table I was up £180 in no time. I found the play extremely bad and pretty much all the players gamblers who loved to call down with marginal hands, they hated folding. I felt totally in control and loved it.
So the following week I decided to take another trip down to play some more cash and lost £120 (my bankroll for the night) The play still seemed terrible and loads of gamblers. I didn't play my A-game I have to admit but what I want to know is this...
What is my best strategy to beat the live gamblers? As they were all extremely loose should I tighten up? I mean these guys were regularly making a 5-6 BB open raise and do not fold to a 3 bet. I tried to see cheap flops with good value as if I hit I get paid a lot of the time. If I do tighten up will this cut the amount of calls I get when I do hit my hands?
