Buy in for this game is $50/150 (retarded I know).
Anyway guys buys in to my right for $50 and I'm like $450 deep.
He insta posts blinds so I'm immediately like lolfish.
He folds his first hand pre.
Second hand I have JJ in SB.
Folds to him, he limps in and I raise to $10. He flats.
Flops 862 rainbow and I cbet $15. He calls. Turn is a J.
I check and he shoves, obv I snap and he rolls 96o (lol)

VERY NEXT HAND he rebuys for min. I get ATs OTB.
agiain, folds to him an he limps. I make it $9 this time, he calls.
Flop is T85 w/ a club flush draw. He checks it, I go $15 and he reaches for the $15, picks them up and goes to call then hesitates, puts them back on his stack and ships.
This is a snap right ? I don't usually like calling here but from the one hand I'd seen him play before I knew he was bad. No info on what he'd check shove though

seriously? do you even have to ask? assuming your poor HH is accurate it's only $26 to call nearly $75 (depending on rake).
you shouldn't have to ask...

He insta posts blinds so I'm immediately like lolfish.

perhaps you can show some respect to the guys that are feeding this game.
this isn't lol2+2

Easiest call ever, I can't believe you're even asking.

perhaps you can show some respect to the guys that are feeding this game.
this isn't lol2+2

this implies that you dont excitedly think to yourself what an ideal guy to pull up to your right. really?

The key to low limit live poker - identify the fish, get a decent hand, and bet bet bet/snap them off. Easy call

When I play live I post blinds and I can assure you I'm no lolfish.

I assume since OP was BB first hand "lolfish" posted in SB instead of button. Not like it's a huge deal but a bit silly I suppose.

you probably shouldnt

Why?

I play to have fun and i maximize my fun by playing as soon as I sit for the insignificant cost of the blinds. I also make a shit ton of profit at those lolbad live tables - i.e. i'm very much not a fish - but that's just a side effect of me having fun.

I also drink a lot of alcohol while playing live. Good for fun, bad for winrate i guess? Also irrelevant to whether i'm a shark of a fish at those games.

yeah I post blinds too, and am very much +EV live as well.

online you're multitabling, and the blinds'll be there in no more than a minute or two anyway.

Live, you could really be there for 20+ minutes waiting for the blind to get around.

I just consider it a playing/entertainment expense. A +EV expense as well--can't tell you how many ppl i've stacked off before the BB was supposed to get to me.
