Live Poker Collusion
While I was playing poker at a casino poker room yesterday, two guys came to our table. Our table was relatively tight for most of the day, okay extremely tight, but when they came to our table they started loosening it up a lot.
They came from another table to ours when two seats opened up, and then when a third seat opened up, one of the guys yelled to his friend to come over to ours. The way they were playing looked a lot like they were teaming up on everyone else at the table. They were incredibly reckless when playing against each other, not seeming to care whether or not they loss their money to their friend, but when anyone else called one of their raises, they reraised on top of them to get them to fold. Everyone knew what they were doing, so one person left and blatantly said that they weren't going to play while that was going on, and another player commented on how strange one of their reraises was when he flipped over bottom pair and his friend called with an ace high. When one of the guys had gotten up to about $500, he told me he was going to another table where there was more money, and then told his friend to follow him, which shortly after he did.
I just want to know is this normal, and why do floor managers and dealers allow this to happen?
Edit: Sorry, I was just thinking my post might belong in the Poker Rooms category, so if it does feel free to move it.
