Live hand I observed
I wasn't involved with this hand but it was interesting.
Player A is a very young Wall street guy, MSNL player, 2+2 guy, who has been away from the game for almost a year. Doesn't seem to have a ton of live experience.
Player B is a slightly older but experienced player, also a dealer, knows his way around a poker table.
Player A raises with
from UTG+2 in 9-handed $1/$3 game to $20. He had raised the previous 3 hands. Player B calls with
from the button.
Player A bets $25, Player B calls.
Player A bets $50, Player B calls.
Player A thinks a minute and says, "I'll check."
Player B bets $100.
Player A tanks and folds.
What do you think the mistakes are in this hand, and who played it better? Is Player B's bet a legitimate range merge?
