HELLO CARD CHAT MEMBERS

I have been playing in the cash games at local charity rms.
Anyways I been struggling with over aggressive people who bet little to hard at certain spots with nothing but a small- medium pair or high cards at a showdown that I already folded to on the flop. My buy in is light should I really get the max buy in to destroy there stacks? And take my presence at the table. I been finding more aggressive people playing these days its not a bad thing. I just need to figure out how to deal with them. I find myself as a somewhat tight/ PASSIVE PLAYER I do open up my ranges in later positions but then get knock around with the betting after the flop/ turn. Yes I
know this is poker but some of these people need to be put in there place because they take away part of the enjoyment of the game. Please send me some stragties for stoping these players or at least stacking them. And when I do call there bets I get smashed because I cant figure out there ranges. Maybe I need to watch there play more closely or just be more patient.Thank you

We have a saying in our card club. 'The sheriff is the first one to get shot!'

You don't need to play the role of 'sheriff', play TAG and don't be afraid to make tight laydowns. In the long run you'll win much more playing your big hands hard than trying to figure out where you can hero call with top pair.

Just don't play cards that suck. Catch top two pair and shove. Earlier today I flopped top pair Jacks with a King kicker. Turn King of diamonds put three diamonds on the board, I bet $25, guy raises me to $60, I instashove all in for another $180. He tanked for about ten minutes and folded. Asked me to show my cards, what did I have? Well sir, that's the $180 question now ain't it? If you know they are playing thin just play a little bit tighter than they are.

Cash game 6 max , have to maintain a reasonable aggressiveness, cbet works most of the time, if someone is paying so disconnect the hand, if you do not hit anything on the flop.
If you wait and play with a range of high cards, certainly in the long term will not be profitable.
I prefer to be aggressive with common hands in good standing, and analyze the villains to not put yourself in delicate situations.

I agree with jgdesabato. you gotta be agressive at times. don't think too much. if you have mid range hands fold to the maniacs. it seems big stack always gets lucky

3 bet and 3 bet some more... Have enough money to see their hands at showdown or study board when their in hands and their showdown when facing others.. Once you do these things... Shut Em' down shut em' shut em' down like the great Public Enemy says

Thank you all for your feedback. Let you know if I'm sucessful this wk end. It just sucks my roll is limited. This month the cards have been running really bad. I forced myself to play bad for the lack of premium hands. My range has been ridiculously wide open. I become a calling station and depleated all funding. Good luck to me this wk end. A let me be wise but bold in the right postion with good reads or at the very least extreamly lucky.
