Hi guys,

I sometimes play some cash local live games.. And many times I got triple up very fast with good run.. And as you know after some times you can be good all the time I got broke or again to starting chips..Is good practice just to leave and come next time?

If you want to be known as the jack-nut that leaves after a score then by all means get up and leave. Its your money you won. The other players won't like it after a while and you'll be resented. I don't know the polite thing would be to do but I personally always have a sent time I spend at the table. Most time it is 2-3 hours. Win or lose, I get up and leave when the time is up. If your this type of player then my advice is to stay home and play online.

Yeah there is no problem to stay 2-3 hours for me ..But I think 5-6 or more hours is nice direction to getting broke

It's a cash game for a reason you have no perceived or imposed time restriction obligation. Play a sng or mtt if you feel like investing in a more time controlled format.

Why would you be a jack-nut for leaving the table when you are winning? You are there to make money, not friends. Win as much as you can and leave whenever you want.

Personally, my decision to stay is based on whether I feel I have good reads and/or skill advantage vs the other players.

Example: Once I had a player on my right who was very loose and somewhat aggressive. Every time he was going to bet/call, he had his hand on his chips. Every time he was going to fold, he had his hand on his cards. Also, he was not protecting his cards, so I could actually see them sometimes. It is so infrequent to have such an advantage that I would stay there as long as possible.

Ofcourse nothing wrong. The next time those losers sees you at the same table, they will tilt and give you chips easily.

you should know before you sit down when you play to leave (i.e. time, money, or feeling tired). Never apologize.

No, it's probably not a good practice for most people. If you are sucking out on people to win or just hitting great cards and winning flips it's likely they are now a bit tilted, if you are playing well then assuming you can keep it up you should stay. Obviously, if you start to get nervous you will lose your money you should leave.

Ultimately, I would suggest finding smaller games to play in if you are uncomfortable being up 3x.

I usually play with an amount of time in mind more than based on chip size. I have learned that I make poor decisions when it's based on winning/losing streak.

You can do whatever you please. Of course players will be mad because you're not giving them the opportunity to win their money back, but it's the name of the game. Poker should and always be about making money, not friends.

Same...whenever I play live cash I set a certain number of hours I want to play before I even sit down. If the action is good on the table I'm playing at and I'm winning and feel mentally fresh still after said set x amount of hours then I may play longer.

But it's your money in the end, do as you like.

Yeah i would often leave after tripling up without a doubt, unless I triple within like 15 minutes of sitting down at the table, then I would probably just play super tight and try to slowly increase my stack.

+1 to that. I set a time, and when that time comes, I get up and leave. I give myself another half-hour if I'm feeling really good about it, but that's it.

If it just so happens that I've won a huge hand shortly before leaving, I will generally announce to the table that I'm playing my last circuit, and get in at least seven or eight more hands before I go. Only reason is, most of my play is at charity card houses, so I see a lot of these guys on a regular basis.

At a popular casino with lots of action, I would have no qualms whatsoever popping out of my chair after tripling or quadrupling up in one hand.

Not my thread but I really like this one. My local casino just recently opened their poker room and I haven't been there yet. But when I go I didn't know what to expect or how I should handle doubling or tripling my stack
