Really?, i always thought 13 was 48.6.

I think you need to copy and paste the rest of the article for it to make sense.

P.S Love the new signature!

Rob I got it from another website and it is copy pasted. If it's wrong I'll remove it though

Thought this would be fantasic for newer players to look at because I know it would help me alot if I didn't know how to do them in my head.

i'm sure this is going to be a very stupid question, but are those percentages for both cards? that is to say, if there's just one card to go, would i cut it in half? or is that the percentage each time? hope that makes sense. i'm terrible with odds and stuff, so if i sound dumb, i'm sorry, but it looked useful and i just wanted to make sure i was reading it right.

That's for both of them.

Your chance of drawing any particular card out of the deck is about 2% (you want 1 card out of the roughly 50 that are in there - the actual number to divide with depends on how many cards you know about, which are usually 2+whatever is on the table, but 50 is an easy-to-count-with approximation). If there are 6 cards that give you the top hand, e.g. having two overcards to the flop, then your chance of getting one of them on the turn is roughly 2*6% = 12%.

The two-percent rule isn't exact, but it's a decent mnemonic.
