Hey, I've played a few cash games, normally 10c/25c. I'm wondering what the people on here think about constantly limping/ slow playing almost every hand. Can't say I do it on every hand, but the majority of the time I will limp, and play slow when having a decent hand.

Is this a good strategy/ or should I abandon it altogether.

I've found that it helps me sucker some people in, and can help me to raise a reputation at the table that allows me to stay in a few hands I do not deserve to be in. Granted, every once in a while I'll take a hit on a river.

Thoughts?

Over the long term, you are spewing money usually doing that at the micros.
This is full-ring or 6max? Online?
Usually you need to open with a raise.
Limping from LP with a couple of limpers ahead with small pp's/sc's/Axs etc is ok.
Oh, and never slowplay unless you have a FH or better IMHO.....

Sorry, Should have clarified that I normally play 6 max, and online. Not many players = less chance of getting hurt by the slow play.

Also, normally slow play with a middle pocket pair on a decently spread out board. Usually leave myself open to runner-runner, but if it dictates I will lower final raise.

Don't slowplay one pair... I wouldn't advise slowplaying less than a set.
