I have just started playing this game regularly earlier this week and was wondering what kind of strategey is most effective.
Right now I have been doing good(IMO) but would like some tips to increase my profit at these tables.
I had started playing on tuesday/wednesday and have made almost $30 off them but feel I could earn more.
With a little over a dozen sessions I think I'm doing good.
Here are my stats from pokerstars, I know it's not a large sample but I don't have software to track my 5-card draw sessions.

5 Card Draw (real money):

1717 hands played:
- cards drawn 713 times (42%)
- won when drawing 180 times (25%)

Pots won at showdown - 183 out of 362 (51%)
Pots won without showdown - 152

Small sample size, but it looks like you are drawing too often. 51% at showdown ? You are on a heater imo.

Remember drawing to straights/flushes in limit 5 card draw is generally a mistake oop, remember you need the pot odds to do it. Yea post any tricky spots in HA would be nice to see a few draw hands posted.

very small win percentage on showdown, maybe you should get there rarer ? It would be nice to analyse money(BB) won on SD and w/o .

Read the mike caros setion on draw poker in the supersystem. It basically tells you to play very tight but you really need to read it.
