Seem like the LAG styles are best suited for mid/high stakes, where the players can correctly fold their hands when are under attack.
In the very low stakes, i dont see too many folds, so at the end, every hand end with a flush/str8, or at least 2 pairs.

so , i see some LAG players here, so my question is
at what level is ok starting to play a LAG style???

obviously NK and Shortanded.

thnks..

I think you can play LAG anywhere.

Micro games gives you the odds most times to chase straights and flushes with all the callers. It is almost like limit poker in that respect. This is where the loose players can catch people off guard with the strange straights etc.

Micro games you can sneek up on people and get them all-in since it is usually only 1-3 dollars to do so. They are not risking alot so they are much looser in their calls. You do this 3 tabling you can still make a decent profit per hour without much risk.

Lag at lowstakes

I think this style is not a good style at very low stakes. People tend to call down with alot of hands. You cant pot it on the turn and expect draws and middle pairs/underpairs to go away. This equals alot of river suckouts iow you have to make good river laydowns. To play a LAG style succesfull you have to pick up alot of small flop pots and at micro stakes you wont, cuz people are gonna wanna see if they hit their gutshot. Youll find yourself in alot of tricky turn situations where you have nothing and your opponent has called a flop bet. At any average table below 0.5-1 your much better of just playing TAG and getting paid off with your big hands.

The people at micro games have glaring holes in them also that lag players can easily exploit.

I end up playing for the double up hands. I see alot of flops and just have to wait till i hit one hard and then go. I agree, not as much bluffing as in higher stakes LAG play but I tend to get more all-ins when I have a great hand compaired to their good hands.

I personally thing LAG players look for the catch the flop and pay off to win that big hand, not steal alot of smaller pots. TAGs win smaller pots when they hit and nobody else does. LAGs win small pots when only small cards hit.
