Patty, there is a book called "Kill Phil" it's pretty basic. No decisions, fold or all-in. lol. there is a chart of what hands to push in certain positions.

I'm going to try it in the freerolls. Let me know how this works for you kickin, and I'll do like-wise.

I mean this strategy could be useful but there is obviously a huge huge amount of variance. Could be interesting tho to see how it goes over a nice sample size in some of those donkament freerolls.

i mite read this book but is it for only freerolls advice?
Sounds like bingo poker too if ur jus shoving all-in.
Anyways isnt it typical that u play fold - all-in when u only have 10/14BB's left. Everyone knows that.
Freerolls are waste of time too lol.

A few players use this strategy....
But most of the time they are out very fast!

Sounds like bingo to me, but if luck is on your side its worth a try . Only thinking about 2 decisions "fold or all in" wont hurt my brain lol

I dont really like the idea of this. Your relying too much on the deck and i hate doing this. I prefer to just own my opponents after the flop whether that being a bluff or milking their chips out of them. Seems abit too unreliable for my liking.

I played around with the Kill Phil strategies last night in two freerolls with about 10,000 people in each freeroll. The first freeroll I made it to around 760 people when the AKs didn't hold up. The second freeroll I had such a monster stack that with about 2,000 people left to go, I sat out the rest of the tournament and still qualified!!! Killl Phil is about the same strategy as you would use in a super turbo. All in or fold. If you manage to survive 2 or three all-ins you're gonna have a monster stack. I would be really hesitant to try to push around the table with ATC, because you are gonna get called. I'm gonna mess around with this a little bit more to see where this goes. This is also good practice to develop your aggression 'gear'.

Thats cool that it worked pretty well. Are you waiting for premium hands with this strategy? Or like is it a kind of shove with suited connecters? Just wondering like what the shoving range is for this strategy.

I tried this strategy at freerolls at ultimate bet...
Did not even work a single time for me....
Was getting busted within 30minutes, max at 45 minutes....
I think that strategy should be brought into the game only at late phase of the tournaments...

I shoved with AA,KK,QQ,JJ,AK, AQ(s) and 10-10. That's it. Everything else, I threw away. the good thing about freerolls is that you WILL get paid off when you get monsters. People don't care since it is a 'freeroll' so you need to take advantage of that mentality.

I had two big wins. Both of them against the next biggest stack on the table. Super huge stack, so I cruised to the finish line (top 250 qualify).

You are either gonna have a monster stack or go broke. By the same token, I'd rather go broke than spend 4 hours playing tight and then get blinded out. That really sux. Happened to me so many time so i started messing around with other techniques. Real poker techniques don't work too well in the freerolls, so I'm trying to adjust.

Those are pretty much the strategies of alot of freerollers:p

I'm finally figuring that out. :) But I'm trying to be a tad more selective on what I shove with, besides ATC.
