That's funny. I'm not offended. I was new to the game and was happy to have any strategy that wasn't: "Call, Call, Call... oh I lost". In defence of shorting it is a good way to learn some parts of the game: Patience, Starting Hand Selection, Basic Stats. You get to see plenty of action with minimum exposure.
On the other hand it ruins your game and takes ages to get over cbetting EVERY flop. I'm glad FT and PS changed their buyin rules and forced me to learn short hand. Much more fun.
