For the last 5-6 days I can't seem to get further ahead at all. It's been up and then back down, and a repeating process. Nearly every day I study more concepts and my hand histories to learn from my play. I'm just at a loss on what else I should do? Could it just be bad variance, but if so have you had it run for this many days?

My January graph for 5NL so far:

Standard.
That is not bad variance but you likely set bad expectations during the 1st 2K hands.

I've played online poker for roughly 10 years. The last 3-6 months I really pushed hard and set the bar high after learning from coaches and other material that has more of a modern appeal compared to old school.

The report says 7.30 BB/100 so far this month, but I felt like the profits are not where I think they should be. I was aiming for $80-100+ for this time of the month, but as the graph shows it's been pretty uneventful for a couple thousand hands. Part of the loss was a few hands getting sucked out on, or a mistake on my read. I'm hoping things will move upward soon, but from what you and WV said this is pretty standard rate?

The report says 7.30 BB/100

The report says 7.3bb (small b = big blinds). Fx said 3.65BB (big B = Big Bets or 2 big blinds). Just 2 different ways to say the same thing. 3.5BB/100 is a pretty standard rate though when running well you can achieve higher.

How long have you been playing cash games online?

I started playing cash games online 10 years ago when a site called TruePoker started.
